In this chapter we want to give you a short introduction in how to create your first application.

Run the app wizard

To create your first app - simply click on the "create your app now" button on our website. This will open our application wizard.

Upload your Spreadsheet

First step of the wizard is "Data".
Here you can upload your existing Excel sheet and the wizard will immediately try to create an app out of it.

You can upload an Excel or CSV file from your computer.
You can upload an Excel or CSV file from your Dropbox.
You can choose an online file (e.g. Google Sheets or SharePoint URLs).
You can build an app based on a formula.

LibreOffice / OpenOffice Calc spreadsheets

LibreOffice and OpenOffice Calc save spreadsheets in its native '.ods' (OpenDocument) format.

To create an app using a spreadsheet created with LibreOffice or OpenOffice Calc make sure your file is saved as '.xlxs'.

Choose a template

After your file is uploaded the wizard will suggest some app templates based on the type of data in your spreadsheet. In this example we uploaded a simple calculator.
